Qadiani's Mockery of Mubahala
Allah(SWT)
has instructed Muslims on the
proper method of requesting divine intervention in settling disagreements
on important matters of faith [Holy
Quran 3:60-61]. This request
has to take the form of a prayer challenge
(Mubahala) in which the
disagreeing parties gather at the same time and place and appeal
Allah(SWT)
to render a verdict by placing his curse on the liars among the participants.
In 1897, Mirza Ghulam Qadiani, the false Messiah, challenged Muslim Scholars
to such a face to face duel. However, he failed to show up for any of the
Mubahalas accepted by the Muslim Scholars. Realizing his worthless plot,
many of the scholars decided to ignore his empty challenges. Some scholars,
however, pressed the issue and demanded that he and his family members partake
in his challenge of Mubahala. When it became clear that Mirza Ghulam Qadiani
had no intention to follow through with his empty threats, these same scholars
sued Mirza Ghulam Qadiani in a court of law. In 1899, Mirza Ghulam Qadiani
was forced to appear in the Court of District Magistrate. Instead of partaking
in the Mubahala, Mirza Ghulam Qadiani preferred to recant his challenge and
apologized - in writing - promising that neither him nor any of his followers
will ever indulge in such a farce. This became a legal document and thus
is binding on all who agree with Mirza Ghulam Qadianis false claim
of prophethood.
After the birth of the Nation of Pakistan, the Qadianis successfully established
their world headquarters in the newly built town of Rabwah. By 1956, they
had completed this new town with a school, college, hospital, and palace
for their new ruler (Qasr-r Khilafat), Mirza Bashir Mahmood Qadiani
-- a son of Mirza Ghulam Qadiani. Qadianis spared no expense in their attempt
to give this town the appearance of an independent government, complete with
Finance and Information bureaus.
Concurrently, the Qadiani cult commenced reissuing the Mubahala challenge
of Mirza Ghulam Qadiani - dated 1897 - to Muslim Scholars. They proclaimed
that their founder, Mirza Ghulam Qadiani, had challenged all the Muslim scholars
to a prayer duel and none of them had accepted his challenge! Qadianis were
attempting to use this blatant lie to give an appearance of legitimacy to
the claim of prophethood made by their founder. They knowingly elected to
ignore the 1899 court decision ending in an apology and a promise from Mirza
Ghulam Qadiani in the form of a binding document.
The Muslim scholars immediately rushed to expose this falsehood. In 1956,
a young Pakistani Muslim scholar, Maulana
Manzoor of the neighboring town of Chiniot, decided to take this issue
head-on. He issued a challenge of Mubahala to the Qadiani ruler, Mirza Mahmood
Qadiani. This challenge was made to take up the issue afresh and seek divine
intervention in ending the argument. Since then, this challenge has been
renewed every year; however, no Qadiani leader has ever come forward to
participate in the Mubahala.
These facts and their details are part of recent history and are well documented
in historical records. Recently, Qadianis have once again began to shamelessly
challenge Muslims to Mubahala. The current ruler of the Qadiani cult, Mirza
Tahir Qadiani, continually challenges every Muslim to his perverted version
of a prayer duel, which is neither in accordance to the Quranic prescription
nor permissible in the light of the apology of 1899. Obviously, Qadianis
themselves have realized the falsehood of the claims of their founder and
began to discount the word, teaching, and promises of their founder and false
prophet, Mirza Ghulam Qadiani.
