Assalamu aleikum.

My point certainly was not that we can expect any new messenger! The
translation, as I mentioned,  is from Yusuf Ali, with the exception of my
interpolation of "Rasul" in place of his translation of "Apostle".

Even the qadiani religion acknowledges that there can be no new messenger;
hence, to use this ayat as "proof" of a forthcoming non-message bearing
prophet is apposite. Picthall's translation, which you provided,  reinforces
the point by correctly using the word "messenger".

I hope this clears up the misunderstanding.
