How is it that the Qadianis selectively mould certain ahadith (which
are of general import) to fit their beliefs, and then use this to
reject other ahadith which are specific and detailed? This is a
rationally unsound. Verses of the Qur'an and ahadith should be
interpreted in the context of the entire body of Qur'anic and
authentic hadith texts. And then, some of the 'hadith' cited by
the Qadianis are not even authentically transmitted to begin with.

Imam Mahdi is not a prophet, so there is no contradiction.

Of course, Islam is not ONLY about declaring the finality of
prophethood, but the finality of prophethood is nevertheless an
essential part of the faith. Islam must be accepted and applied
in all fields, but to deny an essential and plain belief is even
worse than failing to -apply- some of the practical Shari`ah.
Nor should material prosperity be taken as a sign of rectitude.
There are verses of the Qur'an (such as in Surah al-Mu'minun) that
tell us that Allah might make a people prosperous in worldly things
as a deception to them.

Again, a general text being twisted to reject an explicit text.
Please, imagine yourself before Muhammad ibn `Abdillah, the Messenger
of Allah, and then reconsider whether you would be so hasty to
effectively call him a liar by quoting some of his own words to him
(out of context) to refute his words.

And Allah is the Granter of Success.
